Acne Vulgaris

In this lesson on acne vulgaris, we will define what acne is and the causes and risk factors for developing acne.  It is important to know the function of the integumentary system structures and how they contribute to the development of acne.  We will then review types of acne and signs and symptoms of each type. Lastly we will go over interventions and important client education topics to help treat and prevent acne vulgaris including medications and treatment methods.
