Acute Kidney Injury

In this lesson, we will identify some causes and risk factors for developing an acute kidney injury.  We will review the phases of acute kidney injuries and how they can affect urinary and kidney functioning.   We will also look at signs and symptoms of acute kidney injuries and testing used to confirm the diagnosis.  Finally we will review priority nursing interventions for managing and treating symptoms of acute kidney injuries.
