Anatomy of the Musculoskeletal System

In this lesson, we will identify and describe the function of structures that make up the musculoskeletal system.  Additionally, we will explore types of muscle tissue and the function of each in supporting movement, balance, and even cardiac function.  Finally we will review types of joints and how each contributes to or limits movement.

2. Identify the function of musculoskeletal system structures
3. Describe the characteristics of three types of muscle tissue
4. Discuss the structure and function of three types of joints
