Anatomy & Physiology of Pregnancy Part A

In this lesson we will discuss gravidity and parity and the related terms and abbreviations, common pregnancy testing methods, and signs and symptoms of pregnancy. We will cover Naegele’s Rule and practice calculating an EDD.

At the end of this lesson, the learner will be able to:

1. Define gravidity and parity, including related terms and abbreviations
2. Describe 2 pregnancy tests, and 2-4 signs of pregnancy.
3. Calculate Estimated Due Date (EDD) using Naegele’s Rule.
