Anxiety Disorder

In this lesson, we will start with the basics of what anxiety is and types of anxiety disorders and then go over some common signs and symptoms of different anxiety disorders.  We will review causes and risk factors for developing an anxiety disorder including physical, psychological, and medication induced symptoms. We will then identify priority nursing interventions for working with clients with an anxiety disorder including safety, treatments, medications, and medication side effects to be familiar with.
