Appendicitis

In this lesson, we will define appendicitis and identify causes and risk factors for developing this type of gastrointestinal infection.  We will discuss signs and symptoms and complications that nurses will assess for and diagnostics used to confirm the disorder. Will will then identify interventions surrounding treatment.
