Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
In this lesson, we will review arterial blood gases, or ABGs, and show how they are used to identify certain respiratory acid-base imbalances and determine oxygenation and perfusion. We will also look at the important role the nurse plays before and after this procedure in preventing complications.
