Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD)

In this course, we will cover what Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia is, risk factors and causes, signs and symptoms, and how it affects the newborn and peds patient.  Then we will discuss assessments and the priority nursing interventions.

At the end of this lesson, the learner will be able to:

1. Describe Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (mild to severe) and 1-2 risk factors. 
2. Identify 2-3 signs and symptoms of Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia.
3. Describe 2-3 priority nursing interventions and 1-2 parent teaching topics.
