Candida Albicans

Within this lesson, we will first define Candida albicans and identify some causes and risk factors for developing this skin disorder.  We will review some of the most common signs and symptoms of a Candida infection including assessment and diagnostic techniques used to confirm the diagnosis.  Finally we will go through medications and treatment methods including important nursing interventions, client teaching topics, and potential serious complications of a Candida albicans infection.
