Cardiogenic Shock

What is cardiogenic shock?  In this lesson, we are going to answer this question along with pointing out some causes and risk factors for developing it.  We will also talk about signs and symptoms nurses will assess for along with potential complications that interventions and treatments are aimed at preventing.  Finally we will review important client education on lifestyle changes to lower the risks for experiencing this type of shock and other forms of heart disease.
