Cellulitis

In this lesson, we will first define cellulitis and identify some causes and risk factors for developing this skin condition.  We will review some of the most common signs and symptoms of cellulitis, including assessment and diagnostic techniques used to confirm the diagnosis.  Next we will identify important nursing nursing interventions for monitoring and treating symptoms of cellulitis, focusing on infection prevention and maintaining skin integrity.  Finally we will go through medications and treatment methods to prevent complications and treat cellulitis.
