Cholelithiasis

In this lesson, we will define cholelithiasis and determine causes and risk factors for developing this condition.  We will discuss signs and symptoms and complications that nurses will assess for and diagnostics used to confirm the disorder.  We will also identify surgical and non-surgical interventions used for treatment. Finally, we will look at the difference and similarities between cholelithiasis and cholecystitis.
