Chronic Bronchitis

In this lesson, we will go over what bronchitis is and look at causes and risk factors for developing acute and chronic forms of this respiratory disorder.  We will also discuss signs and symptoms as well as testing used to confirm it. Treatments and medications used to manage symptoms will be addressed followed by nursing interventions focused on safety and prevention of complications.  Lastly we will go over important client education topics to help prevent and manage symptoms of this disorder in both the acute and chronic form.
