Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP)
In this lesson we are going to talk about continuous positive airway pressure, better known as C-PAP. We will review why C-PAP is used and and identify some potential complications that C-PAP can cause that nurses need to monitor for. We will also discuss priority nursing interventions to help prevent complications and review client education on proper use and maintenance of a C-PAP machine.
