In this lesson, we will first define dermatitis.  Then we will explore some of the many causes and risk factors for developing this skin disorder.  We will identify some of the most common signs and symptoms of dermatitis along with some specific types of the disorder.  Finally we will go through medications and treatment methods for dermatitis including important nursing interventions regarding skin care and medications.  Intervention topics will focus on important client education topics to help manage symptoms and prevent infection.
