Diphtheria

In this course, we will start with what Diphtheria  is and what causes it. Then we will explore possible complications, common treatments, assessments, and the priority nursing interventions.

At the end of this lesson, the learner will be able to:

1. Describe Diphtheria  and the primary symptoms. Identify 2-3 possible complications. Describe immunity and the role of breastfeeding and vaccines in preventing Diphtheria. Describe why Diphtheria is a serious illness.
2. Describe 1-2 methods of assessment, 2-3 common treatments, and 2-3 priority nursing interventions.
