Echocardiogram

In this lesson, we will define what an echocardiogram is and how it can help detect disorders of the cardiovascular system.  This is a noninvasive procedure that has few nursing interventions, however we will cover some procedures and treatments that nurses will need to be prepared to perform and educate clients about after the procedure.

2. Understand the function of an electrocardiogram as a diagnostic tool for the cardiovascular system
