Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

In this lesson, we will define what an ERCP is and how it is used to assess and diagnose disorders of the organs within the gastrointestinal system.  We will review nursing interventions for before and after the procedure along with potential complications that nurses will monitor for. Finally, we will go over some priority nursing assessments and interventions after the procedure.
