In this lesson we will first do a review of both esophageal atresia and tracheoesophageal fistula. We will summarize signs and symptoms and diagnostics used to confirm both disorders.  We will then discuss priority nursing interventions to prevent complications and maintain the client’s airway and effective respiratory pattern.
