Gastritis

In this lesson, we will define gastritis and identify some causes and risk factors for developing it.   We will go over common signs and symptoms of the disease along with testing used to confirm its diagnosis.  We will also look at treatment methods, including medications and dietary changes, along with priority nursing interventions used to prevent and monitor for complications.  Lastly, we will expand on important client education topics to support the management and prevention of symptoms.
