Gout

In this lesson, we will review what gout is and what causes it.  We will review signs and symptoms of gout along with diagnostic testing that can be used to confirm the diagnosis.  Finally we will talk about treatments and symptoms management, including medications and prevention measures, plus important nursing interventions for managing pain and preventing complications.
