Head Injury

In this lesson, we will review some causes and risk factors for developing a head injury along with some common signs and symptoms.  Next we will discuss testing used to confirm the severity of a head injury and some potential complications nurses need to assess for.  Finally, we will look at the treatments for head injuries including medications and important nursing interventions focused on safety and prevention of complications.
