Hemolytic Anemia

Throughout this lesson, we will identify what hemolytic anemia and identify some causes and risk factors for developing this disorder.  We will examine signs and symptoms of hemolytic anemia and review testing used to diagnose this disorder. We will also review medications and treatments along with priority nursing interventions regarding symptoms management and treatment options.  Finally, we will discuss important client teaching topics to help prevent and monitor for complications.
