Hepatitis

In this lesson, we will review what hepatitis is and identify different types of the disease.  Additionally, we will go over common signs and symptoms, which will be similar between all types, along with testing used to confirm which type a client may have.  We will then discuss dietary, medical, and surgical interventions that are available for treatment. Finally, we will review important client education on transmission of the disease and lifestyle and dietary changes that will aid in maintaining optimal health.

3. Identify signs and symptoms of hepatitis A-E
4. Determine nursing interventions used to manage clients with hepatitis
