In this lesson, we’re going to review a type of parathyroid disorder called hyperparathyroidism.  First we’re going to review what the parathyroid does and then go through signs and symptoms nurses need to be familiar with in addition to testing used to confirm the disease.  Lastly, we will review medications and treatments methods along with client education topics to promote health and prevent complications.

  6. Explain treatments used to treat hyperparathyroidism
