Hyperthyroidism

In this lesson we are going to review again what the thyroid does and what can cause it to have dysfunction resulting in hyperthyroidism.  We will review how an overactive thyroid can affect normal functioning of many different body systems. Finally, we will outline medications and treatment methods and go over important client education for symptom management and prevention of widespread complications.
