Infection Control

In this lesson, we’re going to review a very important topic in nursing: infection control.  We will start off with an overview of the chain of infection and modes of how infection is spread.  We will also explore isolation precautions and how nurses can not only prevent the spread of infection throughout a facility, but also how nurses protect themselves and their families from becoming part of the chain of infection.
