Informed Consent

Throughout many of the lessons throughout other sections, you will see informed consent as one of the priority nursing interventions for treatments, interventions, and procedures.  In this lesson, we will review informed consent and why it is such an important component of client care along with the nurse’s limit on responsibility for ensuring informed consent is completed properly.
