Intestinal Parasites

In this course, we will start with what Intestinal Parasites are and what causes them. Then we will explore possible complications, common treatments, assessments, and the priority nursing interventions.

1. Describe 2 types of Intestinal Parasites, and the primary symptoms of each. Identify 2-3 possible complications of each. Describe 2 key prevention strategies.
2. Describe 1-2 methods of assessment, 2-3 common treatments for each type, and 2-3 priority nursing interventions.
