Lung Biopsy

In this lesson, we will review some reasons for performing a lung biopsy.  We will go over priority nursing assessments prior to and after a lung biopsy to prevent complications.  Finally, we will go over nursing interventions for before, during, and after the procedure to promote safety and infection control and prevent complications.
