Meningitis

In this course, we will start with what Bacterial and Viral Meningitis are and what causes it. Then we will explore possible complications, common treatments, assessments, and the priority nursing interventions.

At the end of this lesson, the learner will be able to:

1. Describe Bacterial Meningitis and the primary symptoms. Identify 2-3 possible complications. Describe why Bacterial Meningitis is a critical illness.
2. Describe Viral Meningitis and the primary symptoms. Identify 2-3 possible complications. 
3. Describe 1-2 methods of assessment, 2-3 common treatments, and 2-3 priority  nursing interventions.
