Myocardial Infarction

In this lesson, we are going to discuss a myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack.  We will talk about causes and risk factors and signs and symptoms nurses will assess for along with potential complications.  Treatments, medications, and nursing interventions will be thoroughly reviewed. Finally we will review important client education on lifestyle changes to prevent a myocardial infarction and to prevent complications if a client should experience one.
