Nuclear Scan

In this lesson, we will describe what a nuclear scan is and what disorders of the musculoskeletal system it helps to diagnose.  We will identify key nursing assessments prior to the procedure and contraindications for performing a nuclear scan. We will then review nursing interventions for before and after the procedure.
