Older Adult Abuse

In this lesson, we will define older abuse and review some examples and signs and symptoms of both physical, social, and emotional abuse and neglect.  We will identify some causes and risk factors for experiencing older adult abuse and discuss some of the most important nursing assessments and interventions regarding abuse and reporting suspected abuse.
