In this lesson, we will give an overview of peptic ulcer disease and some of the common causes and risk factors for developing it.   We will go over common signs and symptoms of the disease along with testing used to confirm its diagnosis. Will will also talk about  treatment and prevention methods, including medications and dietary changes. We will close out the lesson with priority nursing interventions and client education topics to support the management of symptoms.
