Phobias

Throughout this lesson, we will identify what a phobia is and some causes and risk factors for developing this form of anxiety disorder.  We will review common signs and symptoms of phobias along with interventions for managing symptoms. Finally we will review the nurses role in working with clients with phobias including treatments, medications, and medication side effects to be familiar with.
