Pneumothorax

In this lesson, we’re going to talk about what a pneumothorax is and look at causes and risk factors for developing one.  We will then discuss common signs and symptoms of the disorder as well as testing used to confirm it. Lastly, we will talk about treatment and priority nursing interventions focused on maintaining respiratory function and preventing complications.
