Positron Emission Tomography (PET Scan)

In this lesson, we will identify what positron emission tomography is and some of the cardiovascular disorders it can aid in diagnosing.   We will also look at some very important nursing interventions for before and after this type of imaging scan to help promote safety and prevent complications.
