In this lesson, we will discuss what the nursing responsibilities are during the post operative, or post-op, phase of a surgical procedure.  We will identify members of the rehabilitation team and identify the purposes of rehabilitation care.  We will review common nursing assessments and interventions throughout rehabilitation care that are focused on preventing complications and promoting independence and comfort.
