In this course, we will discuss Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), including mode of transmission, cause and risk factors, and typical signs and symptoms, and illness progression. Then we will explore assessments, diagnostics, and the priority nursing interventions

1. Describe RSV, the cause, who is most at risk, and the mode of transmission. Describe 2-3 common signs and symptoms and the typical progression of the illness. Identify 2 possible complications of RSV.
2. Describe 2-3 nursing assessments important when caring for kids with RSV, 2 common RSV treatments, and 2-3 priority nursing interventions.
