Skin Biopsy

In this lesson, we will review the reasons for performing a skin biopsy.  We will go over different methods to perform this diagnostic test along with potential complications during and after a biopsy that nurses will assess for.  Finally, we will go over nursing interventions for before, during, and after a skin biopsy to provide safety and infection control.
