Third Degree Heart Block

In this lesson, we are going to look again at what a heart block is and review a third degree, or complete heart block.  We will identify causes and risk factors for developing this serious cardiac dysrhythmia as well as its appearance on a cardiac rhythm strip.  Finally, we will review priority nursing interventions and medical treatments of this emergency, potentially life threatening heart rhythm.
