Triiodothyronine (T3) & Thyroxine (T4)

In this lesson we will discuss two types of thyroid hormones, T-3 and T-4 and discuss how they are connected to thyroid stimulating hormone, or TSH, levels.  We will also do a brief overview on how elevated or reduced TSH in the body can affect T-3 and T-4 levels in the body.

2. Identify nursing interventions for drawing a T-3 and T-4 sample
3. Recognize the indications for T-3 and T-4 lab results
