Tuberculosis

In this lesson, we’re going to review a serious type of respiratory infection called tuberculosis, also known as TB.  We will go over some causes and risk factors for developing this disease along with common signs and symptoms nurses monitor for.    We will also explore treatment methods, including medications and isolation precautions.
