Types of Seizures

In this lesson, we will discuss what causes a seizure and identify some different types of seizures.  We will briefly review seizure disorders and some causes and risk factors for developing them. We will look at important nursing interventions for both during and after a seizure.  Finally, we will identify medications and treatments used for prevention and diagnostics used for detection of seizures and seizure disorders.
