Urinary Elimination

In this lesson, we will review the structures that make up the renal system and go over the main functions of each structure.  We will give an overview of how urine is produced and explain risk factors for developing urinary dysfunction. Finally we will outline types of urinary incontinence and identify nursing interventions and client education regarding urinary incontinence and skin care.
